Cat got the cream

This is Maxy, one of my mother's two half-Siamese cats. Some of you may remember him from earlier blips. He and his sister Lucy are very particular when it comes to their diary dairy (!) products. While she needs little encouragement to stick out her long pink tongue and lick yoghurt pots clean (it doesn't matter if they're fruit flavoured, her enthusiasm is undimmed), Maxy is more old school and prefers cream, which be laps cautiously from saucers and bowls laid before him like offerings to some ancient Yorkshire cat god. Not for him all that undignified licking.
Offer yoghurt to one or cream to the other and an 'are you crazy??' stare is guaranteed.
Both will be celebrating their 16th birthdays soon, no doubt with a celebratory extended snooze in the airing cupboard....
