A quick sketch

I bought a new sketchbook for my plein air trips which will start when it gets a little warmer!!  I was excited to try out the paper so had a very quick go at painting this little white dog.. I was happy with the paper an for a cheap watercolour sketchbook the paper behaved well accepting more than one or two additions of colour and allowing them to mingle and also where required washed back to white paper.. it didn't buckle too badly either even using a lot of water so I am delighted with my Artway pad.
We dashed out to a gallery and ended up buying both of our sisters a significant birthday present ..job done!!
