Storm approaching
Today's forecast was pretty dire: rain most of the day. So, we had no excuses for putting off necessary housework. However, by noon, it had stopped raining so we went out for a short walk. I fancied visiting the local Yew Hill butterfly reserve but, as we approached, dark clouds were rolling in over the hill, so we beat a retreat, just in time.
The small white blobs in the field on the left are dandelion "clocks" almost ready to disperse their hundreds of seeds.
Tomorrow's forecast doesn't look much better so more domestic chores are on the cards. If only we didn't have so much 'stuff', it would be a lot quicker and easier to keep the house tidy and clean....
