Bellfield Bluebells

Went down to check on the apple trees thinking about my art homework. One of the trees has flowered, the other two are a bit behind. I posted those shots on the 'neighbouring orchards' facebook page. It was pretty wet when I was there but that was making everything very bright and shiny. These bluebells were gorgeous and it is May in Scotland, so there has to be a bluebell blip. Maybe next year we'll be back at Loch Fyne.....

Wanted to capture a moment today. My 12 year old boy took the bus himself to judo - there and back. Apparently he did it last week. I primed him on what to do, let him go - phoned him 5 mins in and he was still in Porty. Had primed him to call me on his way home I.e. after class was finished. It finishes at 1pm. He didn't call till 1.15pm but he'd needed time to get out the class and to the bus stop. He was on the right side, still had his £1 and told me the bus was coming in 4 mins. I was so happy to get that call. All was well.
