Mothers

I was a very lucky mum indeed today. A gorgeous handmade bracelet by my eldest and a hand painted cup and saucer from my youngest.

Today my girls spent the day with my in-laws whilst I spent the day with my step-dad. I know it wasn't the perfect mother's day, but it was perfect enough for me. I didn't want him to spend the day alone and we had quite a few laughs too. Yes, he is a cantankerousness old git but he's still a human being. Unfortunately the way he has been treated recently has made him feel pretty worthless and unloved. Nobody deserves that.
