STRELITZIA REGINAE

I popped into the garden centre this afternoon and did not buy this Bird of Paradise plant. It would keel over and die within two days in my house, based on the performance of most other exotic plants. However I did end up spending the same amount of money on other things which I hope won't die quickly. Also this was the best colour of the day - everything else in the outside world was gloomy, chilly and grey, and the weather forecaster saying yesterday that there was no warm weather on the horizon next week didn't bring much of a smile to my face. Never mind, I got one long-outstanding job done this morning and am about to go and do another couple before dinner.
