The (almost) finished job

Jason and his lads finished this decking yesterday early afternoon  allowing us to furnish it with a couple of tables, lots of chairs and an array of pots. There is a long flower bed at the back of the decking that I planted very quickly so Jason could take some photos. There is also a smaller bed in the front that we only decided to have midmorning, extra sleepers had to be bought to do it but not enough time to get soil to plant it up.
Before we could sit and enjoy we had to cut the grass and strim the edges.
However by 6 o'clock we were on sitting on the decking with gin and tonics and olives. We have a little table and two chairs round the left hand corner that stays in the sun until late on and partially protected from the wind. Its taken a long time to get here and is really worth it.
Today its rained all day so all we can do is look at it. Still very pleased
