Military Orchid Flowers in Their Fancy Uniforms
.... before the rain really set in. And a bonus bee fly (Bombyliidae, apparently there are 4500 species that have been identified!) hoping to use the flowers as an umbrella perhaps. A couple of hours later he was still there (extra) and very wet, so that theory can’t be right!
So happy with your appreciation of yesterday’s snow melt and marmot photos. I shall have to return to spend more time with these marmots I think, now I know where they are.
