Seaside

Oh I do like to be near the sea.

A day spent observing. I saw dogs and children running in and out of the seas. Swallows, fresh from their migration, skimming the water. Kids digging, kites flying, rock pooling, and trantruming. There were queues for hot drinks, fish and chips, lobster rolls and ice creams.

I wished I was here with my two, but it was a solo trip today. My girl however has escaped the big smoke and is in Devon for a few days. I hope she had just as lovely a day by the seaside.
