Oswestry

It rained throughout the morning today. We went into Oswestry to explore and to get a few items. This statue of Wilfred Owen was in a memorial garden to those killed in the two world wars of the last century.
The rain eased this afternoon for a short while and we had a walk along the Montgomery Canal in the sunshine. Driving back to the cottage there was a hail storm and torrential rain. The lanes became rivers.
