Day 1

Well, after one afternoon, the kitchen, such as it was has been ripped out.

The utility room and bathroom have had all the old whiteware and stuff removed and dumped at the tip.

Except the bath. That's on the terrace.

Still it's progress.

There was a rumour earlier that the electrickery people were doing something to my meter. Not enough to give me any power, but it may be a start.

Apparently I shouldn't expect any water for another three weeks.
