Another day, another walk

Our daily walk took us up a country land and then along the seashore.

The old decomposing straw bales in the main photograph caught my eye.

Extra. Later, on the beach there was much excitement when we found a crab with enormous pincers, a species that was new to us. It is, I think, the remains of an Angular crab (Goneplax rhomboides).
