I'm A Survivor

Today's image is yet another 'around the corner' image (just one this time). I had seen the owner of this house at the end of our road apply some wood stain to the fence a couple of weeks ago and loved the contrast between the red brick, the wood stain,  the purple flowers and green leaves of this plant, which has someone how managed to survive in the smallest imaginable space.
For some unknown reason the Destiny's Child song "Survivor" started playing in my head and particularly the lyric "You thought I wouldn't grow without ya, now I'm wiser! I'm a survivor, I'm gonna make it".
I had intended to take a shot of Douce's Manor opposite Manor Park Country Park in West Malling - an arty black and white shot across the park lake to the manor house but the curse of the smartphone struck yet again! During the three lockdowns I have tried to adhere to the guidelines and only use my debit card for any transactions. Therefore, I have made virtually no cash payments but did use leftover coins to pay for car parking. However, by today I had virtually no coins left (apart from 5p coins, which are not accepted for payments anywhere) so I thought I could just use my debit card - which is perfectly acceptable is most car parks (you can tap your card on the machine). No such luck today! There was a phone number but it did not accept card payments and yes you could only upload an app on your smartphone (I HAVEN'T GOT ONE!) if you do not have coins. Aargh!! So I came all the way back home for today's micro localised image.
