Tea with added Krust

OH to be in Glasgow...

Now that the weather is all here. . . . Couldn't make up its mind whether it was deepest midwinter - and therefore snow was blowing sideways - OR that spring had definitely sprung and the sun was beating down on us like there was no tomorrow.....

What amused me was that when the sun did come out from behind the big thick snow clouds, 10 minutes of blazing was all it took till all the snow had gone from the ground. EXCEPT where it was in the shadow.

Of course, when I went to take a picture, it had disappeared again but the snowy bits remained. It just doesn't make as much 'sense' to see it without the sunshine. But I have tried to do 2 things in one - Look there's a funny snow shadow picture on the ground and Look my wee dafs have opened up.

I think probably every 20 minutes the weather changed. I was cooking things. The kitchen steamed up - when it was snowy, cleared up - when it was sunny and I just ignored it all while I stabbed myself several times with a new very sharp knife. ALSO, made the hottest chicken chilli In The World (TM) (I dropped a bag of chilli powder and thought I'd picked most of it out and that I'd got away with it. Sadly no. Dougie though went home without so much of the cold that he came in with. I shall patent this as a cold remedy! (well, depending on how he is when he goes out to work at 4 am tomorrow!)
