Colin's Ferns

I only got as far as Colin's this morning, still feeling shaken after yesterday's fall. Colin has asked me to make him another book at the end of the year of all the flowers growing through the season. Today it was bluebells.

But Colin's showpiece are the big pots of ferns and hostas outside the kitchen window. The hostas are coming on apace while the ferns are just beginning to uncurl. I love seeing them at that stage.
