You would never know

The fights they had this afternoon.....

The youngest had a rough day at school and hadn't behaved well, a hug at home and he started talking about how other children say mean things to him. He's needing a whole lot of love at the moment. 

Eldest has had a great day. Good spellings and Granny and Bumpa came to dinner - with a present. Sadly, the present caused many arguments as the youngest desperately wanted to play with it, but the eldest was having none of it. 

We had some very sad family news over night, so it's been a day of reflection and sadness.

Today I'm grateful for:
Boys who do really love and need each other, despite the fighting that would have you think otherwise!
A wonderful uncle who meant so very much to me.
Being able to provide a little comfort and support to my cousins who feel very far away in America.
