when I say no, I mean NO

That's the message from the robin to the last of the juveniles hanging around to be fed. The male deliberately takes food to the young one and then doesn't feed him but flies off again. He either feeds the female or eats the food himself and turns to chase the young one off. The message is clear but he keeps coming back for more. The behaviour has now turned quite nasty with the dad attacking the youngster. I would like to have captured the arial battles but it all happens too quickly.
Another quick flier is the juvenile peregrine who I did capture in front of the mill this morning. I also added a silhouette of her landing.
