Our day in a nutshell.

Minus the boring stuff though. 
MaggieD had an appointment at her hairdresser this morning but after that we went back to Linlithgow to see if there were any grebe chicks (“Humbugs”) to be seen. Sadly none but the heron was hunting for his dinner among the reeds so I popped off a couple of photos of him.
We then checked out the bluebells at Haining Wood and I think they were at their peak. Chloe posed quite nicely among them. 
On the way home we swung in to visit Fiona, J & A. School was finished for the week and the little ones had fun trying to bury some of J’s numerous dinosaurs in the sand table!
Home for tea and Andrew is popping in for a visit. We haven’t told Chloe but I suspect she knows!
