Once was a home - now immortalised

I originally visited this abandoned home (Co Roscommon) back in April 2016. That image from 2016  can be seen below right. it was reproduced as the cover image for "The Reimagining Irish Studies for the Twenty-First Century".

Five years later I returned, and today I took a similar image. Interesting how nature is slowly reclaiming this structure. And somehow the fridge has decided to move rooms.
