Clematis

Our neighbours asked us to water their garden while they are away but I spend more time emptying the pots of the stagnant rain water ....
the clematis we gave them is producing amazing flowers.

We had an eventful night, having to ring the emergency services at three am as Louise was shaking and having a high temperature following her covid jab. We were told to give her paracetamol and watch her for an hour before ringing again if needed. I ended up watching a film with her until she fell asleep feeling better and cooler. She is feeling rotten today so luckily she is home for the long bank holiday weekend and not on her own in a place where she knows no one.
