Standing tickets only

This was the side entrance of The Gaiety Picture House, Albert Road, Southsea, later The Gaiety Cinema, which opened in 1924. It closed as a cinema in 1959, since when it has been used as a supermarket, currently, The Co-op. Although side exits were common, it was unusual to have a ticket booth located there.
