Flower Friday

Now that the cherry blossom is fading the Rhododendrons are in full flourish.

My walk through the leafy Grange district this afternoon was punctuated by stops to photograph rhodies of every hue in gardens and spilling over stone walls, while underfoot I walked on a carpet of pink and white fallen blossom.

The sun, which has been absent all week came out to add to the colour and I had to remove my gloves, it was that hot, 10°!

I can’t resist adding an extra of a kerbside deposit of someone’s property. I wonder what the story line is!
