Technical skillfullness..

..is it an innate quality of the bees or do they need instructions?
Spring presents the bees with a myriad of different flowers that are present only for a short time-window, each necessitating a different technique for the collection of the pollen, and they just know how to go about with each and every one of them: Sometimes they have to dive into the flower so that only their tail stands out, other times they hang onto the flowers with their front legs and use the middle legs to stuff the pollen onto the pollenbags on their hind legs. Then there is the rosa canina (dog's rose), which must be one of their favorite flowers, for they just roll around like crazy in the flower for 10-20 seconds, literally bathing in the pollen.
