the old house in London

Around 30 years after the little Terrier loco shown in yesterday's Blip, my Maternal Grandparents bought their Balham home and a Johnson has lived in it ever since. Now Aunt Ella has died it has to be sold and we have nearly finished clearing it and cleaning it.

I can remember this room when I was about 3 or 4 years old just after the 2nd World War - for it's where we all lived together at this time. I can remember lying in bed and watching the stars at night through the open sash windows.
