Red Winged Blackbird

I went to the wildlife preserve just south of DC today. Not much in the way of large birds but there were quite a few smaller ones flitting about.

I was photographing a spotted turtle when this red striped blackbird landed about 10 feet to my right. He looked at me, I looked at him, he squawked, and I blipped.
