Wish

Whilst my eldest daughter has been away at Brownies' camp my other daughter has chosen the menus for the three of us remaining at home. So, it was pancakes for breakfast yesterday and pain au chocolats today. I supplied the coffee and the old Bowie (Best of 1969-1974) for the grown-ups' accompaniments. It all made the morning rather pleasant and relaxed.

And, I've no idea why really but I've had a tune in my head all day from a band that I used to be quite fond of a few years ago, although I think they've now split up, just leaving a few 7"s in their wake. Maybe it's all a reaction to being called an Old Jazz Dad yesterday, this is young people's music!
