Clematis montana after rain

I poked my head out of the back door and rattled off a couple of shots of the Clematis montana flowers, with rain still lying on the leaves. The plant arrives from next door each spring, but its former enormous spread is dwindling. Perhaps it needs a feed. Last year its flowers appeared near the top oif the pussy willow tree I've featured several times, which much be at least thirty feet tall.
