Topsy-turvy

The miserable weather continues. Constant cold rain falling all day. It was this grey climate that made me buy some flowers a few days ago to cheer the place up. Glad I did, as they gave me something to play with for today's abstract Thursday challenge, with thanks to host Ingeborg for the 'topsy-turvy' theme.

I stretched, distorted and rotated my flowers in Photoshop, messed around with 'find edges' and 'paint daubs' filters, then played with the colours, and above is the result.

Talking of abstracts: do you remember the finger painting that little Miss B did that I blipped a few weeks ago? Well, I've had its photo enlarged and turned into a canvas that arrived from Photobox today, and is now hanging on our wall. So pleased with the quality. And it's every bit as cheering as the flowers - both in Extras.
