Vaccine

Got our second vaccines today! Hurrah! James and I ended up booking our original ones at different centres because of the slots that were available last time, and the second vaccines were in the same place. This meant we both went together in the car and drove on from mine to his afterwards.

My centre works like the Germans are running it, James’s centre is more like the Soviet Union. Today I was in an out in under five minutes, surely a record! At James’s place the queue was halfway round the car park. 25 minutes went by and he was yet to enter the building. An angry man in the queue was complaining loudly to himself before saying “no point complaining” and then starting the cycle of loud muttering again. Everyone was thrilled about this and showed it by pretending it wasn’t happening.

James says inside there were lots of free booths but not much happening. He had to see the actual doctor, but his admin person had no sign with “doctor” on to hold up so they had to wait for a doctor sign first. All in all it took an hour. Still, no point complaining eh! ;)

Hoping for no side effects this time. James has a mock exam tomorrow so we’re really hoping this is one less bad for him.
