Birthday Wasp beetle

It was my birthday today, a second celebrated in a lock down of some kind. As birthday's go it wasn't too bad at all. I spent a lovely hour or two in the morning going for a walk with Robyn and Lex to the local woods -  the bluebells were amazing still, which is certainly a bonus of a late spring as they are usually well over by my birthday - (see extra).
I also found this lovely Wasp beetle, a long horn, so called because it loosely mimics a wasp both in colouring and the way it moves a really nice birthday find!
