My first blue Meconopsis poppy has flowered. It is very modest, bowing its blue head, so I had to get down low to take a photograph.

We had a beautiful sunny and warm morning; I threw open the windows and put out some washing. I even changed  into a pair of shorts for the first time this year! I'm back in long trousers now, the windows are closed and the washing has been brought in to finish drying...it's pouring with rain. 

Nothing like the Scottish Spring to keep you on your toes :-)
