Coltsfoot

On my walk over to Margrove Ponds I spotted many wild flowers including these coltsfoot seedheads, distinctly different to the dandelion seedheads. New coltsfoot flowers were emerging close to the ground in places as well. Many other flowers were in evidence: a large patch of cowslips, swathes of stitchwort, bugle and violets and many more blooms all adding to the pleasures of the day.
