Retirement

Today it started out grey and damp and not ideal weather for our plans.  However we decided to go ahead anyway and we were pleased we did!  The weather at the coast seemed better than forecast and we had a lovely long walk along the beach.  We also visited Rye for a beak around the shops and stopped for coffee and cake! However, the cake was probably a 3/10 and we should have shared a piece.  I’m not mean but £4.95 for a slice of (stale) coffee cake was a bit steep!  

We have both decided that although it is very early days, retirement suits us very well.
