Thrift

Another day (a rather dull one today) another flower in the garden. This one is thrift - or armeria maritima. I don't remember how I came by it but it seems to like our garden and has spread itself about a bit by itself.

RHS says: "Armeria are evergreen perennials forming tufts or mats of strap-shaped or linear leaves, with long-stalked, dense clusters of small cup-shaped flowers"
