Red Kite

Taken a while to get one of these huge impressive birds who have started to regularly fly over my home. I believe that they, along with Buzzards are one of the avian successes of wildlife in the UK as their habitat range in the UK is growing annually.

I also saw a Lesser Spotted Woodpecker in the garden but couldn’t get to the camera before it disappeared. We had a juvenile flitting around for a few weeks last year so I assume/hope this is the same bird.
