Who nicked our drive?? . . .

. . . so that’s where it went.
 
 
To my surprise the contractor asked me to move my car so that he could scrape the gravel off the drive to use in the infill/gravel drain at the foot of the new wall.   There had been an informal agreement to look at scraping off the gravel from the side drive of the house into the infill and replacing with fresh, but lines got crossed and the contractor had been instructed to take the gravel from the front drive.  As it has been included in the cost of the wall I’m not complaining.
 
The other two images are fresh gravel being dropped into the ‘land drain’, and dry-mix concrete being put into the cavity.
