The last snows of Spring...

A lovely day... woke up to find a surprisingly thick covering of crisp fresh snow - perfect for sledging. Went for a walk which was at times perfect - clear blue skies, crisp white snow and sunshine - and at other times not so good, walking into the driving hail. Saw a wonderful bird of prey but not within range. Stood for ages hoping he'd fly back in my direction but he didn't. Stayed where he was then flew off in the opposite direction - just messing with me!
