We woke this morning to see Mt Taranaki / Egmont looking magnificent covered in a dusting of snow. 
This mountain is on the West Coast of the North Island of NZ, situated in the Egmont National Park.

In the extra is the local Clock Tower / Glockenspiel
This Elizabethan-style clock tower was built in 1996 and surrounds the previous tower built in the 1960s. The tower hosts NZ’s first glockenspiel which performs four times daily with a 5-minute sequence depicting the world’s best known love story, Romeo and Juliet. The second extra is a closeup of the colourful art covering the box in the above photo.

It has been a special day, bittersweet in many ways, but very precious.
