In the pink
A day at home, mostly spent trying to organise access for fieldwork, food shopping and battling with our bank's phone app before attending two Zoom committee meetings, almost back-to-back!
The changeable weather is making life quite difficult. We'd planned to visit a site near Grimsby tomorrow, having changed our selected day at the end of last week on account of the forecast. Today I had to change it back to Wednesday! Fortunately, the person who had been scheduled to open the gates was not able to make the Tuesday, so the client was also happy to change it at short notice as it gave them longer to find a replacement!
No time for photography - just a quick image of the very abundant Wood Forget-me-not in our garden. Like many members of the Boraginaceae, the flowers change colour as they mature.
