Camouflage.

Finally managed to get a photo of the one of the deer that are living on The Common next to the house. Normally the dogs smell them and then go into chase mode scattering the deer. Today the strong wind meant the deer could stay undetected. My eagle eyed better half spotted them though so we went back without the dogs.
Not a great picture. Must try harder!!
