Finally..

Finally the oak tree is coming in to leaf!!  It feels so late but perhaps I remember incorrectly.  Also I had to pop out today to the farm shop to buy our first asparagus of the year.. what a treat!!!  It is absolutely my favourite seasonal vegetable.. I can never eat enough of it!! Tonight we had it with a little melted butter which is really the very best way to eat it.. wonderful!

The little crane has brought me luck.. my second vaccine is now booked for next week.. hurrah! It will be 11 weeks minus a day since the first one so I am delighted.
