In between random showers, I darted onto Parker’s Piece at lunchtime. This was a welcome break from meetings, some of which were on the shambolic side today.

I’m enjoying Through the Embers of Chaos, by Dervla Murphy, detailing her Balkan explorations by bike. A chapter at bedtime rounded the day off well. This book was a gift from Amy in homage to our cycle trips, and like any mention of other countries or travels at the moment, it’s causing my wanderlust to spike.
