One Man went to Mow

For the past (quite a) few months John has been restoring an old mower to be towed on the back of his Fordson tractor.  It has been a labour of love.  He has had to create and locate various parts including cannibalising another similar mower to end up with one complete model and today was the day everything came together.  First he wanted to check that everything that needed to turn would turn.  Then it was off to the meadow of a friend nearby whose meadow needed mowing.  IT WORKED PERFECTLY!  I recorded the event in the customary manner and left the pair of them to mow the meadow - they had fun.

It has been an excellent project to keep J occupied during Lockdown and marginally more useful than all the photography I have done.
