Summer visitor...

....as we packed the car to leave after our wonderful weekend N spotted a group of swallows swooping in and out of the eaves. A bit of sitting quietly in the car gave me a chance to get a shot. 
We stopped to see good friends on the way home which was so good. Sadly I also heard that my oldest friend lost her husband yesterday though. We’ve hewn friends since school and I’ve known him since I was 17.
