Loose talk costs fruit harvests

Last summer our local wood pigeons watched us squeeze our gooseberries and heard us announce that they would be picked on the morrow. The pigeons had other ideas and worked through the night to strip and consume the fruits.

Netting may provide necessary protection. We shall find out e're long.
