Have had a lovely day. Sa and I were going to meet for a walk but she had hurt her knee going running so we met for lunch instead. Nice coffee/lunch place a few minutes walk away for both of us, with good coffee, lunch stuff and cakes! It was sunny when we arrived but after about 45 minutes it started to pour with rain. Fortunately we were under cover in this marquee. Stayed there for about 2.5 hours chatting mainly about families andSa had to leave to prep for her piano lessons. Went to a shop I hadn’t been into before for yet more stationery and the rain stopped so had a mooch around the charity shops for books for dad. All were well stocked so I picked up a few- interestingly none of them had the smell I associate with charity shops.
