Distortions

The little shiny ice cream vendor is parked by the side of the road again, not open for business quite yet but no doubt will be soon. There are great reflections in it, and I've blipped one or two in the past. This has the hall and the school district office across the road distorted on one of the curved corners. Extra: the school district office keeping an eye on traffic.
A quick trip to town to pick up a form. It's one of the loveliest days we've had, actually felt like spring. I did a couple of things in the garden and decided to plant some cucumber and basil seeds indoors. One of the cucumbers outdoors might survive but the basil died, which surprised me. Anyway, there's plenty of growing season ahead.
I was so pissed off with myself. I had my camera sitting on the stairs, like I do every day, and picked it up but somehow I stepped on the strap and it went flying out of my hands and landed on the floor with a tremendous bang. The protective lens shattered, so glass everywhere. I couldn't unscrew it but luckily G did. Thankfully the camera's still working, no damage to the lens although there might be a couple of wee scratches on it. Those cameras must be well built to still function after a landing like that! I've dropped it once before and have fallen with it a couple of times. Been lucky! Not anywhere near being ready for a new camera just yet.
