Protected

A windy evening, not ideal for photographing plants, but I found these little woodruff flowers protected from the wind by some hosta leaves. Although the depth of field is not enough for both plants to be in focus, I decided against focus stacking leaving the hosta leaves a touch soft. There is a little movement in that one leaf.

The image engenders a feeling of something larger looking out for its smaller neighbour. The pointy leaves make for quite a dynamic shot all the same.
