Cleo's food dish is in my bedroom so that she and Pickle are fed separately. It works pretty well most of the time, for some reason Pickle doesn't go near Cleo's dish so her habit of grazing through the day rather than eating everything at once is usually safe. I got up this morning to find that Cleo appeared to have decided she needed more variety. This tatty object is one of Cleo's favourite toys. She has had it since Christmas 2012! She runs around the house with it in her mouth and regularly brings it to us to throw for her to fetch!
Strange day today, Colin's mum (now 98)and sister are doing a tour of Scotland with a touring caravan stopping at sites near to family members. They came in to see us today, they're staying at Silverknowes this week and seeing the Edinburgh folks. Luckily the weather was nice this afternoon so we were all able to be comfortable in the garden. Kathryn and the girls came by too and we spent a happy hour or so in the garden.
I got lots done in the garden today, hopefully the frosts are over. Planted out runner beans, broad beans, peas, sweet peas. I've used all four of the obelisks which I got from Lidl the other week.
Bridge this evening and Colin has a vestry meeting so I played all evening. We didn't win but we're happy with how things went.
Had a phone call from Ali late on and she had dropped Marvin off with us for a couple of hours. Cleo is not impressed.
Keep safe safe and well everybody, Scottish cuddles next week, can't wait!
