Should you be up there?

The answer was no - but with little remorse, although he did get down after being asked. 

I had a beautiful morning walk with the dog and a lunch time run with him, so we're doing well for today.  House is clean, beds are all freshly made and all the ironing is done.  I feel as if I'm the chief maid at the moment!  

More importantly, we're all set for the birthday tomorrow - the eldest will be 6! Presents wrapped and on the table for him, aside from the 'big' present, which can't really be wrapped. He is SO excited about turning 6! I have strict instructions about the cake he wants, and the dinner he would like, so I'll be chief chef tomorrow. 

Today I'm grateful for: 
Enjoying getting everything ready for a birthday in the house! 
Quiet day at home getting everything straight, ready to concentrate on some work tomorrow 
Discussion in the car on the way home from school with the boys about what we would like to do with the Virus; the eldest would like to stamp on it to 'deaded it', the youngest would like to catch it and kill it, I just said I'd shoo it away.  But we were all in agreement with the sentiment!
